Around the world there are hundreds of different belief systems and faith, for some like the great Dr. Ibrahim Jaffe Sufism is the faith which he holds, for others it may be Mormonism and for other Scientology and it is essential that we make a point to respect all of these faith systems and structures which people hold dear.
The world often feels as though it is on fire and 2020 is most certainly a year which has brought home a huge array of issues which the planet has. The hope is that from all of this division we can come together as one eventually and learn to once again love and respect each other, and that includes the faiths which we hold. The core areas of division are based on where people are from, what they look like and what they believe in. It is absolutely essential that we learn to respect all of these differences and when it comes to faith, here is why we absolutely must learn to respect what other’s belief.
Danger
The main reason is that being ignorant and disliking someone based on their faith is a very dangerous thing to do and it will never end well. We have to not only be understanding but respect what other people believe in order to make the world a better place.
Learning
What many fail to believe is that understanding the faith of another can greatly him them in their beliefs and their faith. Many religions and credences are based around similar theories and ideas, and the acceptance of another’s can greatly help in your own life.
Teaching
The way in which we act and behave is what our children will then do which is why it is essential that we are every bit as understanding and open-minded as we wish them to be. Always remember the example that you are setting to others when you act, if we really want the world to be a better place then this comprehension is something which should be passed on.
Ignorance
Most of the reasons why people dislike or are bigoted towards someone from another faith is that they do not properly understand it. This is the trap that so many fall into and when we don’t understand something we remain wary of it. The more that we are ignorant the more that we are likely to be intolerant, learn more and understand that respect.
It’s Life
All of these divisive people around the world are so blind to the fact that everyone is different and that this is the way that things have always been. The notion of trying to get everyone under the same beliefs or to be the same is nonsense and it would be a terrible idea anyway. We should embrace our differences and use them to come together as one diverse and respectful world.
It is always essential that we respect the beliefs of others.
