For about 10 years now I have been running a vegan restaurant in Coconut Creek, Florida and whilst it has never exactly taken the world by storm, it as gradually grown over the years and brought in a healthy profit. About 2 years ago I was looking to take it to the next level and truth be told, I wanted to open up a vegan store, which would also be situated here in Coconut Creek. I decided that marketing would be my best way of doing this and whilst I was investigating, I stumbled across some eTargetMedia reviews. This is a company which specializes in email marketing and the reviews were so good that I decided to give it a try. The results of this campaign were outstanding and here is how targeted email marketing took my business to the next level.
Return on Investment
As any small business owner knows only too well, any money which is spent on the business must be done with an idea of the type of return that you are going to get. Well after reading the reviews I was confident that I would be able to get a strong return on my investment but I genuinely hadn’t thought that it would be such a good return. I won’t bore you with the financial figures but I will say that for a small investment, I saw a huge boost in clients over the following weeks, usually increasing daily sales by around 120%.
Willing Recipients
There are two types of email marketing campaigns which you can perform, the first is a blanket campaign and the second is a targeted email campaign. There are of course pros and cons to each approach but for me, the targeted approach worked incredibly well. The reason for this is that my restaurant is very much within a niche and so I needed to send emails to customers who fell into my demographic, rather than simply a blanket approach. What this meant was that it was vegans and vegetarians who were receiving my emails, and so were far more willing to respond and give me their custom.
Brand Growth
What I was really looking for when I started this campaign was to increase the sales revenue for my restaurant and to grow the brand so that opening up a second vegan business would be received well. The sales revenue most certainly began to increase after just a short time and what surprised me the most was how quickly the brand grew. The media company that I used were able to show me metrics about how many people were talking about my business compared with in the past, and how many people were leaving ratings and reviews, all helping with brand growth.
I am around 6 months from opening that second business here in Coconut Creek, Florida, and there is no way that I would have been able to do so without targeted email marketing.
